Community Area Plan
The current Community Area Plan was published by the Marlborough Community Area Strategic Partnership (MCASP) in 2004.
Following the establishment of the unitary authority for Wiltshire and changes to the boundaries of the Community Area a new plan has been commissioned and MADT are proud to be leading the consultation and drafting process on behalf of the Marlborough Area Board.
How do I get involved? Easy - come along to one of the consultation events (listed below) to hear all about it and take part in the discussions or complete on-line questionnaires at the Marlborough Area Community website. In fact, why not do both?
When are the events?
The next consultation event is >
Marlborough Town Hall on the evening of Wednesday 6th July. Come along & HAVE YOUR SAY.
What are the topics? Following consultation the main areas for consideration have been defined as follows:
Communities & Community Safety
The Environment & Planning
The Local Economy
Transport
Housing
Local Amenities
Health & Well-being
Adult Employment & Education
Children & Young People
Where can I find out more? Visit the Marlborough Area Community website to find out more information. There are surveys to complete covering all the topics listed above so it really is easy to make YOUR voice heard!
