The old Community Area Plan was published by the Marlborough Community Area Strategic Partnership (MCASP) in 2004.

Following the establishment of the unitary authority for Wiltshire and changes to the boundaries of the Community Area, a new plan was commissioned and MADT have led the consultation and rewriting process on behalf of the Marlborough Area Board.
