The Community Area Plan highlights the need for enhanced business networking opportunities. MADT is pleased to support the Marlborough Area Women's Business Network to help improve the type and quantity of networking events taking place across the Marlborough Community Area.

Through regular networking lunches held in a variety of locations in the region, MAWBN helps to unite and stimulate the local rural economy by offering support to women in business.

The events are well attended and a guest speaker is invited to talk on a number of business related topics.

There is always the opportunity to talk to other local businesswomen, some of whom are juggling career and family commitments, others returning to work or starting up in a new venture.
