Welcome
Marlborough Area Development Trust is a non-profit-making voluntary organisation. Our aims are simply put; to strike a balance between economic, social and environmental issues affecting the Marlborough Community Area and ensure that it is a vibrant, successful and pleasant place to live, work and visit; both now and in the future.
We are not only concerned with Marlborough but with all 19 parishes which go to make up the Marlborough Community Area. This stretches from Avebury and the Winterbournes in the West to Chilton Foliat and Froxfield in the East; Broad Hinton and Baydon in the North to Savernake in the South.
Established in 2000 we have helped to deliver the Community Area Plan via a broad spectrum of events and partnerships.
In moving forward with the next phase we are working with the Marlborough Area Board and Marlborough and Villages Community Area Partnership to identify new objectives and targets for the challenges now facing the Marlborough Community Area.
MADT has been commissioned to review the Community Area Plan in order to address current local issues.
The consultation process is well underway including a website developed specifically for you to tell us what you think on a wide range of issues.
Getting involved is easy, click on the Community Area Plan button on the left and follow the links to the Survey Website.
